SW4K PLAY is a player for Android, Android TV, Fire TV, and Windows. It does not provide, host, sell, or curate any video content, channels, or subscriptions. It is a client: you supply the address of an IPTV service (Xtream Codes) or a playlist (M3U/M3U8), and the app plays what that service sends back — the same role a TV, a set-top box, or a media player app performs for any streaming source you already have access to.
Because the app has no content of its own, everything you see when you use it comes from the service you chose to connect it to.
SW4K PLAY has no backend, account system, or analytics service. We do not collect usage analytics or telemetry, advertising identifiers, crash or diagnostic reports, location data, contacts or device files, or payment information. There is no server this app talks to for any of the above, because none exists.
To connect to your service, the app asks for some or all of: a profile name, a server address, a username, and a password (for Xtream Codes), or a playlist URL and an optional EPG address (for M3U). All of it stays on your device:
None of this leaves your device except in the one case described next.
Your credentials are used for exactly one purpose: authenticating with the IPTV or playlist address you entered, so the app can retrieve your channel list, movies, series, and program guide, and play the stream you select. That request goes directly from your device to your service's server — we are not in the middle of it, do not see it, and do not log it.
Beyond login details, the app keeps a few other things locally to make it useful — none of it transmitted anywhere: favorites and continue-watching/resume positions, parental control settings and PIN, and app preferences (playback, appearance, and similar settings).
The service you connect to is operated by whoever you got it from — not us. Once your credentials or requests reach that service, its own privacy practices apply, and we have no visibility into or control over them. If you have concerns about a specific provider's data handling, that provider is who to ask.
SW4K PLAY is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your region). The app's built-in parental controls exist to help account holders restrict what's browsable by others using their device.
Credentials are stored using your platform's secure storage APIs rather than plain files. No storage method is guaranteed to be perfectly secure, but nothing about your login is sent anywhere beyond the service you configured — reducing where it could ever be exposed to just your device and that service.
You can remove a saved account from inside the app at any time (Settings → Manage Accounts), which deletes its stored details, including the securely-stored password, immediately. Uninstalling the app removes all remaining local data — favorites, resume positions, and settings — along with it.
